Residential Experience

Josh’s construction career began around 15 years ago as a labourer in England. After moving to Australia, he learnt his trade on the tools, progressing through the roles of carpenter, leading hand and site supervisor before founding Forge Building.

Much of that experience was gained working on high-end residential projects in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, where careful workmanship, attention to detail and quality finishes were essential.

Working his way through each level gave Josh a thorough understanding of what goes into a well-built home—from the hands-on carpentry through to coordinating trades and overseeing work on site.

Today, that experience shapes Forge Building’s approach to residential work, with a focus on thoughtful planning, clear communication and a finish that reflects the care taken throughout the project.
